MOVIE MAKERS WORKSHOPS IN WONDERLAND!

Walton Film Festival Workshops

This May, Walton-on-Thames celebrated the 120th Anniversary of film-maker Cecil Hepworth’s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland in their inaugural Film Festival.

With thanks to funding from the Charity of Robert Phillips, Love Walton and Dramacube were delighted to give school children the opportunity immerse themselves in wonderland themed Movie Makers Workshops inspired by techniques used by the pioneering film producer and director.

In these half day sessions, children worked with professional film-makers and creatives, participated in drama games, improvisation exercises and got creative with props and worked together to create their own films storylines.

Filled with imaginative ideas, amazing acting and super storylines – we think Directors Cecil Hepworth and Tim Burton would be in awe of the children’s Alice in Wonderland film adaptations! Scroll down to watch them all!
