At Dramacube Productions we have a pool of highly experienced industry professionals who support us with each production. You’ll meet lots of us during your child’s time at Dramacube Productions but for now here is a brief introduction to the creative team.
Producer
Steve’s passion for youth drama is born out of his own experience at Youth Action Theatre. It was at YAT that Steve discovered how drama can play such an important part in a child’s development. Over the past 20 years he has worked with young people of all ages around the UK and in the US, always being inspired by the benefits enjoyed by children when taking part in drama.
As a performer Steve spent eight years touring throughout the UK with several productions before joining Theatre Works in Hartford CT on a directing internship, where he worked with Broadway director Rob Ruggiero on a production of The Lonesome West. Steve went on to direct shows at the Barons Court theatre, and numerous youth productions at the Riverside Youth Theatre and Youth Action Theatre and of course with Dramacube.
Steve overseas all aspects of each production at Dramacube and works as an independent commercial theatre producer. Recent productions include: Ellie & Starlight – the Musical, Ellie & Starlight’s Christmas Adventure and Hatti & Pippa’s Christmas Adventure. Steve is currently working on Buddy & Cocoa’s Christmas Adventure and a new ghost story called The Lifeboat which he aims to stage in London in October 2024. In addition Steve produced comedy for Café Kolbert Comedy Waiters and numerous corporate videos and events for Silvercube Media Group.
Artistic Director
Matthew is a professional actor and director. He trained at Middlesex University and Guildford School of Acting.
Matthew was awarded Best Youth Production for his work on Matilda the Musical.
Outside of Dramacube, Matthew works with a talent agency called Rotten Orphans (which he co-founded) who represent talented performers under the age of 21.
He also helps actors with the challenging task of being accepted into drama school.

Choreographer
Rory is a Teacher, Choreographer, Professional Dancer and Nutrition Coach.
Rory began his training at The Wallasey School of Ballet, going on to study Professional Musical Theatre at Liverpool Theatre School.
Rory’s professional credits include: Disney, Marvel, Netflix, Good Morning Britain,West End Bares, UK Tours, Costa Cruises, HBO, Apple, Adelphi Theatre, Warner Bros.
In his time as a Teacher and Choreographer he has worked with every age from 3 all the way through to 90+. This means he has experience with many different abilities of dance. Rory prides himself on creating a safe space for self expression and being able to bring confidence to all. Rory’s students describe him as kind, encouraging, knowledgeable and funny.

Teacher & Musical Director
Heather is delighted to have recently joined the Dramacube family. Heather trained in ballet and jazz from a young age, then moved into studying singing as a teenager. She read English at the University of Birmingham, then went on to work in the Houses of Parliament for 14 years – but her first love was always the performing arts.
Heather now teaches early years music, sings professionally at weddings and other events, and is a Learning Assistant for the Historic Royal Palaces, working with children and families. She is a regular performer with local theatre companies BROS and TTC, performing lead roles at Richmond Theatre, Hampton Hill Theatre and The Minack Theatre, Cornwall. Recent Directing credits include Life is a Cabaret at OSO and Stones in His Pockets at Hampton Hill Theatre.
Mini Musicals Teacher
Hannah graduated from Royal Holloway University in 2003 with a degree in Theatre Studies – specialising in set design, and completed an MA in scriptwriting in 2005.
Jenya trained at Karpenka-Karuy, the Kyiv National University of Theatre and Cinema and graduated with honours.
As a performer Jenya has starred in more than 50 films and TV series including the lead in 2021 film Human which was presented in more than 20 countries and received awards in Japan, Brazil, Germany, Italy.
As a singer, Jenya performs with jazz band Breeze and in 2023 appeared at the Royal Albert Hall with band Dzvinko.
Jenya has taught performing arts to young people for over four years at Academy A in Kyiv, the Ukrainian Social Club in Twickenham & at Dramacube in Hampton Hill.
Teacher & Production Designer
Hannah graduated from Royal Holloway University in 2003 with a degree in Theatre Studies – specialising in set design, and completed an MA in scriptwriting in 2005.
After working in various roles in the theatre industry, Hannah decided to focus on using her theatrical abilities to set up her own children’s events company – Pep & Bear (named after her children),
specialising in children’s entertainment and dramatic decorations. Hannah is a firm believer in drama being a powerful tool to grow confidence in children and is a long-standing friend of Dramacube, regularly helping out at our holiday workshops.
Teacher & Costume Designer
Joanna is a professional Dancer, Singer from the Midlands. She trained from a young age in ballet where she found her passion in performing.

Natasha graduated from the Urdang Academy where she trained in Musical Theatre and Freedom to Fly training in Aerial Skills.
