Our Movie-Making classes have arrived!

We are delighted to open our doors to budding young film makers in September for our exciting new movie-making classes which are suitable for students aged 7-14yrs

Working in small groups and guided by a team of industry professionals, children will gain practical experience using cameras, lighting, and sound equipment, as they discover the concepts and techniques required to successfully make a movie.

Classes will cover all aspects of film-making including pre-production planning, giving students an all-round introduction to the exciting world of the movies.

In addition we’ll have drama tutors on hand to offer guidance on acting-for-the-screen.

Whether they love being behind the camera or starring on screen they’ll love making a movie together which will be shared at the end of term in an official screening.

Students will also receive a digital copy of the final movie!

Classes take place at Stanley School in Teddington on a Thursday from 5pm to 7.15pm.  A new class will also be opening in York this September and venue details will be published shortly.

For full times, dates and venue locations please visit our Movie-Makers Teddington page or our Movie-Makers York page.

Children are welcome to join us for a two-week taster which can be booked for £30.00.  Taster fees are deducted from the term fee.

Places will be offered on a first come first served basis.
