William Morris is a diverse composer equally comfortable writing classical, film, theater and popular music, and is Director of Pentatone Ltd. His works have been widely performed in venues such as St Paul’s Cathedral, Hampton Court Palace and G-Live. William’s music for media has been heard on Radio 3, More4, BBC4 and the Linbury Theater, Royal Opera House.
He scored the acclaimed documentary On That Day, critic’s choice in Time Out, Radio Times, the Observer and featured in The Times. Most recently he scored the popular BBC documentary Harlots, Housewives and Heroines and the Channel 4 documentary The Secrets of the Stonehenge Skeletons. William has composed a number of musicals including Rasputin (Greenwich Theatre, Musical Futures), What You Will (Hampton Hill Playhouse), The Two Hermiones (Hampton Hill Playhouse and The Electric Theatre – Guildford), Stratford Street (King’s Head, Islington), and youth musicals including with Youth Music Theatre UK OMG Ovid Unplugged, Talking Drum (performed in numerous schools) and Gouache in the Night Sky (workshopped at Questors theatre).
William has also been Musical Director with YMTUK, at Questors Theatre, Richmond Theatre and Hampton Hill Playhouse, so he says it feels like coming home to be MD with Dramacube.
