We are delighted to announce that company members Tom Stephens and Erin Douglas have been nominated for the Best Child Performer (aged 14 and under) Award for their roles as Edmund and the White Witch in our Christmas 2015 production of The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe at Hampton Hill Theatre.

There were many fantastic performances in our production of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and we are thrilled that both Tom and Erin have been nominated. There are so many talented young performers in the Richmond borough so to be considered for this award is a tremendous achievement and a tribute to both Tom and Erin for all the hard work they put in.

The season 2015-16 marks the 30th anniversary of the Swan Awards and a very special event is being planned. Guest presenters will be the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, Cllr. David Linnette and actors Isla Blair and Julian Glover who were present at the first Swan Awards Gala in 1986.

The awards are announced on 18th September so watch this space!

Elf the Musical JR

We are now looking for talented young performers aged 7-16yrs to join the cast of Elf the Musical Jr.
We’ll be casting all principle and ensemble roles so if you are interested in joining the cast for this fantastic show contact us now and we’ll book you in for an audition. You’ll audition to join the acting company then specific roles will be cast on week two of our autumn term.

All of the team at Dramacube Productions are professional performers so we know how scary auditions can be but you really don’t need to worry. We run workshop auditions which are great fun and give you an opportunity to express yourself freely as we work on some songs, basic dance routines and scenes from well-known West End shows. You will work with 15-20 other like-minded performers aged 7-16yrs and throughout the audition, you’ll get to know everyone really well.

In addition, our workshop auditions are a great opportunity for you to learn a little more about our company. There will be lots of staff on hand to answer any questions you have and help you at the audition. There is no need to prepare anything as we’ll provide you with a good variety of songs and scenes to work with.

Even if you are unsuccessful on this occasion, it is free to audition for us so you can always try again later in the year. But who knows, you could end up playing the lead!

To find out more visit our Auditions page.  We look forward to hearing from you.
