News from the Cube!

I am writing this post sitting in my front room in Hampton Hill, a place I have come to know as home, work, playroom, classroom … the list goes on.

It is a gloomy day and the typical January weather does little to raise my spirits however, I’ve just received a wonderful gift from one of our team which has brought a smile to my face.

Actress and Dramacube teacher Kate Barton has just sent me a short story she has kindly recorded for our 4-6yrs students.

I’m sure you are all familiar with What the Ladybird Heard by famous children’s writer Julia Donaldson.

As well as being an amazing teacher, Kate is a professional voice-over artist, and thankfully has a recording studio set up at home!

As we cannot run our regular classes in Hampton Hill at present, Katie wanted to share something creative with her students and I’m delighted to post it here

We hope your children and their siblings enjoy the story. Feel free to share it with anyone else who needs a little cheering up.

Stay safe and we hope to see you all soon!
