Happy New Year!

I hope this blog post finds you well.

Once again, we find ourselves unable to meet in person but fear not, our team have been working hard to find exciting ways for our talented young students to enjoy some acting, singing and dance again.

Starting this Saturday, Abbey and Matt will be diving into Disney with four ninety-minute sessions. Here’s is a taste of what to expect.

Dramacube does Disney!

Once upon a time… (for four weeks only), we shall be celebrating all things DISNEY!

All we have been doing over these lockdowns is watching DISNEY+.
We know lockdown 3.0 has only just begun but who cares…we are obsessed.

We cant get enough. BRING ON THE DISNEY!

We want to know …

What is your favourite Disney movie?

Who is your favourite Disney Character?

And Why?

We want to give our talented young actors the opportunity to bring these characters to life in our very own Disney Kingdom in the magical land of Zoom! (‘Cos let’s face it Disney on Zoom is way more fun than Maths!)

We will all be portraying our favourite characters as we are quarantining together in Beast’s enchanted castle where a strange and evil curse has fallen upon the kingdom and we need your help to lift the spell!

We will be playing awesome games, with prizes… “ooooooooooh” I hear you say?

We will be making costumes, singing songs, learning dance routines and bringing our favourite Disney characters alive through imagination & improvisation.

Throughout the project we will be putting together a script and on the final day we will perform our very own masterpiece to cheer us all up during this gloomy lockdown.

All you need to do is pick your favourite character and sign up!

Our first day will be a Disney Mania Extravaganza Quiz! And yes this will be for a prize – sent straight to your house. So if you think you know a lot about Disney, sign up now!

Hosted by Matt and Abbey.
(Also known as Ursula and Hercules.)

We look forward to seeing you there!

The classes are available to all students from Dramacube Teddington, Twickenham, Hampton and surrounding areas aged 7+ and the project fee is £50 per child.

But that’s not all!

Katie has been working on a number of lovely short stories which she is planning to record and share with our younger students.

There will be a variety of stories which will be posted on our social media platforms in the build up to the February half term.

Happy lockdown everyone and stay safe!
