OUR STORY.
Dramacube Productions are an award-winning Performing Arts Company who use performance as a platform to educate and inspire young people.
Dramacube was established in 2012, when we began offering a wide variety of classes and workshops throughout the Richmond and Hounslow boroughs.
The expansion into Youth Productions began in July 2015 with a short run of Fame Jr. for children aged 7-16yrs at Hampton Hill Theatre. Once we discovered just how much young performers benefit, from participating in a production at a purpose-built theatre with professional stage crew, the race was on to find the next show!
Since staging Fame Jr. we have successfully produced more than 10 shows with 5 different casts at theatres including; Epsom Playhouse, Cecil Hepworth Playhouse in Walton, the Watermans Art Centre in Brentford, the Exchange Theatre in Twickenham and Hampton Hill Theatre.
Productions over the past few years have included Legally Blonde the Musical Jr, Annie Jr, High School Musical 2, Matilda the Musical Jr and The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe, Oliver Jr and Peter Pan JR and Aladdin JR.
During that time the company have received numerous nominations and won several awards.
Our shows are carefully selected to ensure students experience a diverse range of musical theatre styles, maximizing the opportunity to enhance skills in acting, singing and dance. We work with leading licensing agents for musicals, to ensure the scripts our students use are inspired by commercially successful shows but written specifically for young people.
We now offer Drama Classes and Workshops for children aged 4-7yrs and Productions, Movie-Making Classes and Workshops for children aged 8-12yrs. In addition we have a Youth Theatre for students aged 13-18yrs who perform at theatres and festivals and can participate in industry workshops on auditioning, casting, film-making and musical theatre.
